Conversation Catch
I start.
A loaded question.
Somewhat unfair.
You call me out.
Your turn.
A gentle toss.
I tiptoe around it.
Careful not to touch anything real.
My turn.
A curve ball.
Unexpected, it catches you off guard.
A satisfying response.
Your ball.
Easily evaded,
But I got cocky.
And it hits hard, you get what you wanted.
Back to me.
An accusation
Full of so much more than just a game.
Does some damage.
Last throw goes to you.
Carefully chosen words.
I deflect, slightly too obviously.
A draw.
There are no handshakes,
No, "Nice game"s or congratulations.
Only concerned, cautious glances,
And too many unanswered questions.
Don't give me that look.
It's not my fault.
We're not okay.
Don't just sit there.
It won't magically go away.
We need to talk.
Don't walk away.
It isn't what you think.
We have a misunderstanding.
Don't try to explain.
It's not something you can get out of.
We can't just make up.
Don't say you're sorry.
It can't save this now.
We're miles past that point.
Don't even try to speak.
It isn't helping anymore.
We should just give up.
Don't give me that look.
It's not my fault.
We can't be okay now.
Isn't this what you wanted?
Heart racing
Head pounding
Lying on your floor.
Isn't this how it's supposed to be?
Heavy breathing
Muscles tensing
Grabbing at my back.
Isn't this how it is in the movies?
Body quivering
Teeth clenching
Biting into my neck.
Isn't this what you wanted?
Heart racing
Head pounding
Knowing we can never go back.
The Bleeding heart by Phantom-Alchemist, literature

The Bleeding heart
The bleeding heart,
Whose wounds will not heal,
Whose pain just won't cease,
Whose cuts never seal.
The lost soul,
In her story she has no part.
Forever she'll search,
For her lost, bleeding heart.
The bleeding heart,
And it's trail of red blood,
Will wonder the earth,
Through stone and through mud.
The lost soul
will wonder, not seen by the eye,
But not far away,
More lost souls follow by.
The bleeding heart,
And it's thick trail of red,
Holds words left unwritten,
And things never said.
The lost soul,
Will never find,
Her lost bleeding heart,
She has no feelings, she doesn't mind.
The bleeding heart,
Has touched ma

Love Like Suicide
This love makes me cry and die,
Laugh and live, and whisper sigh
This love makes me fly so high,
Tears me to pieces, deep inside
This love feels like it's killing,
At the same time, it's so thrilling
This love sends me reeling,
Can't explain this feeling
This love is so chilling,
Feels like my blood, is spilling...
Ice flowing through my veins...
My body, my mind, my heart, my soul, encased in chains...
Am I even still alive...?
Love like suicide...!(This love is like suicide)
Every single night...!(This love is like suicide)
Forbidden even my pride...!(This love is like suicide)
Every wish I have, denied...!(This love is like suicide)

What is love?
What is...the truth?
Love makes you do things,
You wouldn't normally do,
Love shows you that life has meaning,
Yes, love is the proof
The truth about love,
Is that it's under-rated
The truth about love,
Is that it's complicated
The truth about love is...
Love is how we make it!
So squeeze me, tightly,
Please hold on to me
(Don't ever let me go...)
Squeeze me, tightly,
I want to feel you breathe
(Don't ever let me go...)
Squeeze me, tightly,
Please hold on to me
(This is love...)
This is...the truth...
Love is...a smile,
That goes on for miles
Love is hearing,
The sparkling laughter of a child
The truth
There is always truth,
To be found in tears
Truth of love,
When you are held near
Truth of excitement,
Laughter and pain
Truth of passion and desire,
Truth of strain
No tears are faked,
Although it may just astound,
All of us to find,
Just what they are cried about
Some are tears of joy,
Some are tears of shame,
They are cried when we cannot leave,
Cried when we cannot remain
There is always truth,
To be found in tears,
And in that crystal moment,
That truth becomes clear
It can be truth of innocence,
Or truth of a hard fight
It could be truth of hello,
Or truth of good-bye
There is truth in tears,
Because tears, we c
Pain,
Frustration,
Fear,
Anger,
Distrust,
These things consume me,
Cause me to feel different than I am
They eat away at me on the inside,
Changing how I think and feel
It's hard to be uplifting,
When all you ever do is fall
It's impossible to be there for others,
When you need to be there for yourself
My mind wanders aimlessly,
Seeking answers that continue to elude
This world is slowly breaking me,
And I no longer know what to do
It's so very, very hard to fight,
When all you feel is broken inside

Where do broken hearts go,
To heal?
Where do they lay in solitude,
And once more become real?
What price, what punishment,
Must they undergo,
Before they are allowed to return,
To a world that has forsaken them,
A world that has spurned?
Where do broken hearts find,
The courage to move on?
Was that strength truly with them,
Inside all along?
Where do they hide the memories,
That they simply cannot share,
With anyone, anywhere?
Where do they learn to love,
Again?
Broken hearts become lonely hearts,
If the healing takes too long
The fear and mistrust of betrayal,
Makes them cold and wan
Lonely means forever broken
